Our Board
Darcie was introduced to Care & Share through the mentorship program in 2000 and has been a strong supporter of the organization for over 20 years. She currently serves as Board Chair. Darcie has enjoyed a successful career in aviation and is currently employed with Kreos Aviation in Sales and Corporate Flights. Darcie and her husband Paul have two daughters who are currently pursuing secondary education. Darcie enjoys lake life and spending time with family and friends.
Milton was born and raised in Saskatoon. After graduating from NAIT, he followed his passion and opened Imagery, a photography studio only a few blocks from where he grew up. He holds a Masters in Photographic Arts from PPOC and is also an accredited member. Milt has served on the board for over 15 years, he serves on many community organizations and sits on many local boards. He enjoys golfing, cooking, gardening and wine making. He has 2 sons, a daughter-in-law and 3 wonderful grandchildren.
Maureen worked as a community school coordinator at King George School and Bedford Road Collegiate for over 30 years. She was the President of the Sask Community Schools Assoc., the Vice-President of the Cdn Assoc. of Community Education and served on the board of KidSport for many years. Maureen joined Care & Share in its early days as a liaison between the schools and the charity providing the insight into the schools’ most urgent needs. Maureen is now enjoying retirement.
Mark started working with Care & Share through ROCK 102, and after seeing what a great service the program does for the community, wanted to become more involved. He is currently the morning personality at Rock 102. Care & Share has been the charity of Rock 102 for many years and the relationship has been outstanding. Mark is married to Mona and they have a beautiful daughter named Emily. Mark’s favorite food is anything you can stick into dip, favorite color is blue and he loves to cook!
Carolynn is originally from Moose Jaw and has advocated for children and youth since she was 16. She moved to Saskatoon to further her education and has continued to make this beautiful city her home. She has worked at inner-city schools as a Community School Coordinator for 16 years and has been on the Board since 2016. Carolynn loves what Care & Share stands for; helping all our students have the best education possible! When she’s not working, she loves camping and hiking with her dog.
Bob was born and raised in Saskatoon. He received his post-secondary education at the U of S and Dalhousie University. Bob worked for the Saskatoon Fire Department for 31 years retiring as Assistant Chief in charge of Administration, Communications and Community Relations. Bob currently is employed by North Atlantic as Community Relations Manager. He also serves on a number of community organization boards. Bob is married to Marlene and has two sons, Matthew and Ben.
Sandi became the Executive Director of Care & Share in 2002 after a 23 year career with RBC. Sandi is the organizer, coordinator, and bookkeeper for the organization. Sandi works with the schools to implement and oversee the programs offered to the students. She volunteers at Folkfest, has canvassed for various organizations, was part of the RUH Celebrity Golf Tournament committee and is on the Hockey for the Homeless organizing committee. Sandi enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Eduardo moved to Canada in 2014 and is a co-owner of Magnus Construction Services Inc. As part of the Saskatoon Progress Club, he has the opportunity to learn and interact with local charity organizations dedicated to supporting youth in need. He enjoys connection with nature and is happy to be part of this beautiful city that he calls home. He believes that by working together, we can make our city a better place for everyone.
Anne was raised in BC, lived in Alberta and now Saskatoon has been home for 33 years. Though she loves the mountains, she equally loves the Prairies. Anne has worked for the Saskatoon Public School Board for 20 years in a community school setting. Working within the community has been a fulfilling career, in which Anne enjoys meeting and working with family, staff and community members. Anne loves spending time with her family, grandchildren, and children.
Born and raised in Saskatoon, Julia is a lawyer dedicated to serving Indigenous communities across Saskatchewan. Driven by her belief in children as our future leaders, Julia was ecstatic about joining a team that strives to ensure every child has the opportunity to realize their full potential. Her passion for helping others extends beyond her legal practice, as she actively engages in community initiatives, volunteer work and coaching youth volleyball and basketball.
Thomas has known about Care & Share for most of his life. He feels honored to follow in his father’s footsteps, as Sid is a founding member. Thomas is an Investment and Insurance Rep helping families and business owners with their financial and benefits needs. He and his wife Jasmine recently became the proud parents of a baby boy. You can find Thomas spending his free time with family and friends, golfing, attempting DIY projects around the house, and spoiling their dog.
